Organ Repairs
The pipe organ was installed in 1893. It is one of a limited number of Johnson & Son tracker organ. It is called a reverse tracker because the organist does not face the pipes as is usually done. At first, the power for the organ to be played by the organist came from a boy working the bellows. Later on, water was used to furnish the power. Eventually, an electric motor was put into use to provide the power. A very complete report on the organ can be found below.
